Definitely a five-star rating for this super well maintained site and friendly staff .
What I esp. appreciated, were the toilets combined with a washing stand, so you can wash your private parts without having to take a full shower.
WIFI reception was good.
Lovely dog walking area.
Be aware that the site can be reached only over narrow lanes.
Cooking salmon and couscous in the tent. Three stars only because Noisy campsite with dogs barking all the time. Owners not keeping control of their dogs especially at 23.45 yapping then getting a torch in my face after going to the toilet.
People arriving at midnight setting up. Not on. The food shop was very low Why when people are still camping. Lighting at night wasn't enough. The good thing was the staff were polite and friendly. Also the bathroom was highly clean and hygienic. Campsite positioning was good for driving places for 20mins each way but the lanes are unsafe one car only, no room for an extra large campervan.
Loved this campsite - we've just got back after a week away here. Really well located site that had nice facilities. We had a tent in the Orchard and the pitches were an excellent size. We even had a story teller (our friends kids loved this) and Morris Dancers on site.
Lovely clean site, well run by all the staff. Very friendly and a good central point for travel around South Devon. A car is a bonus, if you are in a Motorhome, but a bus route is just outside the lane and is a short walk from the site.
We came down to visit a family member.
Was a lovely site. Nice and clean and tidy. Staff nice and welcoming.
Big site with different areas.
Nice pebble wall for kids.
The park wasn't open when we went.
Roads are really narrow so take care
A lovely caravan site with narrow lanes on the approach. Staff are very friendly, welcoming & helpful. The site is well maintained. Toilet blocks are really clean. On site there are a few play areas for the children as well as a tennis court. There's an excellent dog walk, which is fully enclosed meaning it's safe to let your dog off to run. The dog walk opens up into a lovely field which has a cut path with a few routes to follow.
Dornafield is the perfect site if you want relaxation. The staff are very friendly and the site is well maintained. The fully serviced pitch is amazing, with your own personal bin and toilet disposal point. It’s a site you will want to go back to again and again.
Good site. Clean toilets & showers. Pitches are service so no waste water to worry about. Good views and peace and quiet. Probably not great for kids as this was the only minor niggle. Kids were running and biking up and down the roads. Apart from that a great site and will visit again.
